Femme Fatale Gals (2018-2024)

Femme Fatale Gals is a creative empowerment platform and annual magazine started in Nottingham by Khaya Job. What started as a small feminist creative project for Khaya and Nottingham surface print maker Alice Peake (alicesayspalace) in 2018, has grown into a platform that widely discusses mental health, self awareness, personal development and so much more.

Femme delivers a variety of self development workshops and motivational talks within the community and often with Universities. The platform invites people to have open conversation, deep self reflection and a sense of community and togetherness. The themes of the magazines and workshops often respond to current events and conversations. Issues have included Female Empowerment, The Power of Love and Vulnerability, Purpose and Becoming. The magazines don’t require anyone to be ‘professional’, all responses and submissions are welcomed. The idea has never been about perfection but about self reflecting, together.

Femme has impacted lots of people across the Midlands and has branched out to many different organisations. The website is no longer up, but if interested in purchasing a magazine please contact Khaya through the contact page.
